Immortal Oud has taken a radical step in a new direction with this oil.
 
The wood used to make this originates from the country of Old Koh Kong and is the exact opposite of the usual Thai fruity and playful profile.
 
This is a smokey delight with notes of charred wood, incense, stone and earth, I also get a tobacco note which adds to the already dark facets of the oil.
If you are a fan of earthy, smokey, dark, seductive and mysterious Oud oils, this could be for you. It would also be ideal for layering with your favourite perfume.
 
Top notes - charred dark woods, incense,
 
Mid notes - mineral qualities, stone, earth
 
Base - dark tobacco and incense smoke.
 
Effect - grounding , relaxing, meditative
 
Something very different from Karl, a brave decision and one that has paid off. This is one that fans of darker smokey oils should jump on, especially at the price point.
